The SJ Euronight launched in September 2022 – with sleeping cars, which sets it apart from the Snälltåget – and has been subsidised by the Swedish government ever since. When this funding expired in summer 2026, SJ withdrew from the operation. For a short time, it seemed to be the end of the line for the connection.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>But \u003Cstrong>RDC Deutschland\u003C\u002Fstrong>, which already provided the rolling stock and staff for the train on behalf of SJ, is taking over the operation independently from this September. The Hamburg-based railway company is now continuing the service under the name \u003Cstrong>RDC Euronight\u003C\u002Fstrong> – with a slightly reduced timetable. This has now been published, and tickets are also available until the end of the service period in mid-December.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2 id=\"route-and-timetable\">Route and timetable\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cp>The train runs \u003Cstrong>three times a week\u003C\u002Fstrong> in both directions. As \u003Cstrong>EN 344\u003C\u002Fstrong>, it departs from Berlin at 18:39 on Mondays and Fridays, and from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof at 21:53 on Wednesdays, Mondays, and Fridays – arriving at Stockholm Central the next morning around 09:45 (a journey of about 15 hours).\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Heading back towards Berlin, the \u003Cstrong>EN 345\u003C\u002Fstrong> departs from Stockholm Central at 17:29 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving at Berlin Gesundbrunnen at 08:56. On Thursdays and Saturdays it goes all the way to Berlin, while on Tuesdays it only goes as far as Hamburg.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Along the way, the train stops in Padborg, Copenhagen Airport, Lund, Hässleholm, Alvesta, Nässjö, Linköping, and Norrköping, among other places.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2 id=\"cabin-categories\">Cabin categories\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Ch3 id=\"sleeping-car-1st-class\">Sleeping car 1st class\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>Maximum comfort. The private compartment has room for up to three people, with wide, made-up beds. The compartment has its own shower and toilet.
