Your Interrail Pass – valid on trains in 33 European countries – covers the Nightjet ride itself; this fee is only for the seat or bed.
Nightjet reservation fees follow a dynamic pricing model that depends on route, season, and demand. As a rough guide: a seat costs €4.90–24.90, a 6-bed couchette €19.90–64.90, a 4-bed couchette or Mini Cabin €29.90–94.90, a 3-bed sleeper €59.90–184.90, a double sleeper €69.90–224.90, and a single sleeper cabin €114.90–479.90.

This Euronight service works like the rest of your Interrail trip: the pass covers the ride across borders, so the fee below is just for the reservation.
On the Berlin–Stockholm Euronight, reservation fees are around €18.50 for a seat, €37 for a couchette, and €85 for a double sleeper.

European Sleeper
European Sleeper honors the pass across its whole network, so wherever in Europe you're headed, the multi-country Interrail Pass covers the ride and you only pay the reservation.

Interrail regularly runs limited-time discount campaigns. These promotions typically focus on three main periods throughout the year: a spring, summer, and winter sale. These sales events can be a great opportunity to purchase a pass at a reduced price.
Past campaigns
Spring 2026: In March 2026, there was a spring campaign with 15% discount, running from March 10th to March 31st. The campaign applied to both Global Passes and One Country Passes.
Winter 2025: In late autumn 2025, there was a campaign with 25% off selected passes. The campaign lasted several weeks and covered both Global Passes and many One Country Passes.
Summer 2025: In June and July 2025, Interrail offered a 20% discount on a large selection of passes. Both Global Passes and various One Country Passes benefited from this.
