nightride.com is the independent comparison platform for night trains and night buses in Europe. Here, you can find the right connection for you and choose the best ticket from various vendors.

Night buses and trains are a fantastic way to travel in a relaxed and eco-friendly way. However, finding the right connection and the best deal can be challenging. We want to change this with nightride.com.

nightride.com does not sell tickets itself. If you click on an offer on nightride.com, you will be redirected to the website of the third-party vendor where you can buy your ticket.

These are different ticket categories:

• Reduced: non-refundable/postponable
• Semi-flexible: refundable/postponable to a limited extent, with a time limit and possible cost consequences
• Flexible: refundable/postponable free of charge

The ticket categories may differ depending on the vendor. Please check the conditions of the vendor when purchasing a ticket.

We are constantly expanding the covered connections. Currently, the connections of the Austrian Federal Railways ÖBB / Nightjet and the Swiss Federal Railways SBB are available.

We regularly check the prices with the vendors and save them in our database. When you search for a connection, we recheck the price in real time.

nightride.com currently only shows connections less than three months in the future.

The closer the departure date is, the more up-to-date the price is in our database. When you start a search, we recheck the price in real-time. So you can be sure that the prices are up to date.

We make every effort to ensure that the prices are up to date. However, we cannot guarantee this.

There are usually discounts for children and retired people. To check the price for children and retired people, select ‘0-14 years’ or ‘60+’ under Travelers.

• Sleeper: The most comfortable compartment, 1-3 persons. Optionally with a private toilet/shower
• Couchette: The classic, 4-6 people. Shared toilet/washing facilities
• Seat: The cheapest option, in a compartment for up to 6 people or in the open-plan carriage.

The compartment types vary depending on the vendor. Please check the information given by the vendor when you buy your ticket.

Depending on the vendor, there are compartments in the couchette coach that are female travelers only (e.g. ÖBB). You can check the availability of ladies' compartments on nightride.com: Click on the respective person under ‘Travelers’ and select ‘Female’. Attention: You must select the specific option when booking with the vendor.

Depending on the connection, you can book an entire compartment for you and your fellow travellers - so you are undisturbed. You can check the availability of private compartments on nightride.com by selecting ‘Private’ in the compartment filter. Attention: You must select the specific option when booking with the vendor.
