Night train from Ötztal to Dortmund
There currently are a variety of options to travel by night train from Ötztal (Austria) to Dortmund (Germany), taking between approximately 10 and 12 hours: Namely the UEX 1300, the UEX 1302, the UEX 1306 and the UEX 1308. These lines are operated by UEX.
UEX
UEX (Urlaubs-Express) runs seasonal night trains and car-carrying trains between Germany and Austria.
What accommodation is available?
Options range from seats and shared couchettes to private couchette compartments, sleeper compartments and connected sleeper cabins.
Can I take my car?
You can bring your car, but only between the car terminals, and you book the vehicle along with your ticket.
What about skis and catering on board?
There is a free ski compartment. Drinks and snacks are available in the bistro on board.
What do children pay?
There is a reduced fare for children who have their own seat or bed.
