Every Friday evening in the winter season, the Travelski Night Express takes skiers from Paris Gare d'Austerlitz – and on a separate train from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Brussels – to Moûtiers, Aime-la-Plagne and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, arriving on Saturday morning. It returns on Saturday evening. Travelski sells the tickets, and Pegasus runs the train.

What classes are there?

You can choose a non-reclining seat, a berth in a shared couchette compartment – Standard with 6 berths, or the comfier Standard Plus with a duvet and mattress topper (6 berths on the Paris train, 4 on the Benelux train) – a whole Standard or Standard Plus compartment to yourself, or Première: a private 3-person compartment with real beds and a washbasin.

Train ticket or ski package?

nightride.com shows the price of the train ticket only. On Travelski's website you can also book the train in a package, either all-inclusive with transfer, accommodation, ski pass and ski equipment, or as a smaller package with only part of it.

What should I know about the journey?

There is a bar car for dinner and breakfast. Skis travel in a labelled bag under the lower berth, one pair per person, and pets are not allowed. With a train ticket alone, you arrange the transfer from the station to the ski resort yourself.
