Night train from Padborg to Stockholm
There currently is one option to travel by night train from Padborg (Denmark) to Stockholm (Sweden), taking between approximately 9 and 11 hours: Namely the EN 344. These lines are operated by RDC and SJ.
RDC
RDC Deutschland operates the RDC Euronight night train between Berlin and Stockholm three times a week, with stops in Hamburg, Copenhagen and several Swedish cities along the way.
What sleeping car options are available?
Two sleeping car categories are available on board. The 1st class sleeper offers private compartments for up to three people with a private bathroom including shower and toilet; breakfast is included. The 2nd class sleeper has two-person compartments with a private washbasin and corridor toilets. These can be reserved privately or shared with other passengers in mixed or women-only compartments.
What does the couchette car offer?
Couchette compartments accommodate up to six people and can be booked privately or as individual berths. All berths come with a pillow, sheet, and blanket. Washrooms and toilets are available in the carriage.
What does the seating car offer?
As the most economical choice, the seating car offers compartments for up to six people and open-plan seating. Each seat comes with a power socket and an included reservation. Toilets can be found in the vestibules at the end of the car.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is included for passengers in both 1st class and 2nd class sleeper compartments and is served directly to the compartment. Travellers in couchette and seating cars do not receive breakfast.

The Swedish Railway SJ operates night trains daily throughout Sweden, covering long distances and serving remote areas.
What types of cars are available on SJ night trains?
The night trains include seating cars, couchettes, and sleepers. The sleeper cars provide compartments for two or three people as well as single compartments. Some routes also offer Deluxe compartments with private bathroom facilities and shower.
What amenities do the sleeper cars offer?
Each sleeper compartment has a washbasin. The Deluxe option additionally provides a private bathroom with shower.

The couchettes offer space for up to six people with access to provided bedding and toilets in the carriage corridor. The middle berths fold up during the day to create seating areas.
