Caledonian Sleeper

The Caledonian Sleeper connects London with various destinations in Scotland and offers a comfortable overnight travel option. Can compartments be combined for families?

The Classic Rooms have connecting doors, allowing adjacent compartments to be connected for families or small groups. Also worth mentioning is the Family Ticket with discounted rates for two or three adjoining compartments. Accessible compartments are also available for passengers with reduced mobility.

Are there seating cars?

The Caledonian Sleeper also offers seating cars as the most economical option. Prices start at less than 100 euros, while a sleeper car is significantly more expensive. The seating cars are particularly interesting for budget-conscious travelers and those with bicycles, as bicycle spaces are available here.

How are the washing facilities equipped?

Each sleeper compartment is equipped with a washbasin. The premium Club Rooms and Caledonian Doubles additionally offer a private bathroom with toilet and shower, which is particularly appreciated on the longer journey to the Highlands. Guests in Classic Rooms share the toilets located at the end of the car. Accessible compartments with appropriate sanitary facilities are available in each part of the train.
