There currently is one option to travel by night bus from Zurich (Switzerland) to Brussels (Belgium), taking approximately 9 hours: Namely the 001ZA operated by Twiliner.
The company Twiliner offers a new night travel experience with buses whose seats can be fully reclined. The connections run from city center to city center without detours via airports. The concept is aimed at travelers looking for an alternative to air and rail travel.
Twiliner's patent-pending seats can be fully reclined into a bed at the touch of a button. According to the company, they are the first of their kind in Europe. The seats feature a safety system that enables travel in different positions.
The buses offer free Wi-Fi and power outlets at every seat. In the lower deck there is a toilet, changing room and snack bar with various drinks and snacks. Each seat has its own storage, a work table, USB ports and reading light. Water, coffee and internet are provided at no extra cost.
At Twiliner, one large suitcase up to 23 kg and one carry-on item up to 5 kg are included in the ticket price. These are stored in the luggage compartment. At the seat there is only space for small personal items. Additional luggage pieces can be booked for a fee.
Twiliner has developed a restraint system for the lying position that was tested according to company information. Passengers must wear seat belts throughout the journey and use a sleeping bag when lying down. The company works with various bus companies whose drivers are trained for night driving. Two drivers are deployed per journey who alternate regularly.
For the next 7 dates with connections, the cheapest offer starts at 165 EUR. Check our connection pages below for all availabilities!
